Millennium Partners are days away from opening their sales center for Millennium Place, a 15‐story condominium complex in Boston’s Downtown Crossing.
Reporters toured the mock unit, up the street from the Washington Street site where construction is underway on the development. Here, they got a glimpse of what will be — floor and floor to ceiling windows providing sweeping city views, kitchens with granite countertops and walnut cabinets, ivory oak plank floors and underground parking.
The 256 one‐, two‐ and three‐ bedrooms units range in size
from 775 2,360 square feet and will be priced from $550,000 to $3.5 million. Construction is expected to be completed in late 1013.
Richard Baumert, principal at Millennium Partners, estimates that the apartment complex will “do well, generate a lot of interest” thanks to what he described as an upward trending real estate market much improved from 2009.
Up the street, Millennium Partners is planning to build a 606‐foot tower at former Filene’s department store.
