The pent-up demand for luxury housing in Downtown Boston has fueled the sales of Millennium Place at 580 Washington St., bringing to a conclusion one of the fastest sellouts of a development in Boston’s history, says Richard Baumert, a partner of Millennium Partners.
The remaining 19 condos under purchase-and-sale agreements will close by the end of the month, he says.
“It’s amazing.” In fact, it’s the fastest sellout among the 28 buildings Millennium Partners has developed throughout the U.S. in its 23-year history, he says.
A state-of-the=art sales office opened in October 2012, and residents began moving in a year later. Sales of the 256 condominiums at one of the most coveted address in the city totaled $310 million.
